The Eames Lounge Chair Wood (LCW) is one of the most iconic examples of Eames design still available today. With its gently sloping moulded plywood contours and minimalist look, the chair has become a style icon. Conceived after the second world war as a way to provide the American public with affordable, comfortable furniture, the sleek plywood construction was originally produced in short run by the California based Evans Molded Plywood.

Later, they reproduced the LCW and sold the chair in North America, where it became very popular. At this point, the chair is highly sought after and a prized by furniture collectors all over the world.

The Stockroomreplica Eames Lounge Chair Wood is an exquisite reproduction, featuring all the same elements as the original design. Five layers of moulded plywood create the seat; eight layers go into the legs for added strength.
