The Ant Chair came about by Danish Designer Arne Jacobsen in 1952. Arne Jacobsen was employed by Danish Pharmaceutical Firm Novo Nordisk to design a chair for their company canteen / cafe seating. The designed chair became a classic and its name came due to the similarities of the seat to the body and head of an ant.

Inspired by Arne Jacobsen, Stockroom reproduce the Ant Chair is suited to a wide range of applications. This replica item meticulously emulates the original in specification and construction methods. Great for use in cafe's, restaurants and bars. But also beautiful in its simplicity around the home and dining table.
