Eames Inspired RAR Rocking Armchair, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1950, known as the RAR (Rocking Armchair Rod Base)
. The inspiration for the design came from the famous New York Museum of Modern Art competition, “Low Cost Furniture Design” where the Plastic Armchairs were first presented.

The organically shaped fibreglass and reinforced plastic seat shells were later combined with various different bases, such as RAR’s rockers. This Eames Inspired RAR armchair reproduction consists of a moulded polypropylene shell resting on four legged stainless steel wire base legs which are held by two wooden rockers.
