The beginnings of my adventure "Deco", there was the meeting with stylist Emily Chalmers, but also with its sister Selina Lake or the photographer Debi Treolar. Not that I became a follower of their styles, but they allowed me to DESIGN THE DECORATION otherwise.

There have of course been other encounters that formed me or rather distorted look, but were the first to show me that the interior design could be anything other than something hyper codified.

The English Emily Chalmers is an inveterate bargain hunter.  It was art and how to find what appear to us ugly, outdated, or even good for the trash.  But it does not china anything.

She loves the vintage furniture, fabrics with large flowers retro, kitsch trinkets in gaits, dishes grandmother ... a joyous bric-a-brac she puts casually, yet subtly portrayed in his loft.  It repairs , patching up, tinker without seeking perfection, but rather efficiency. It covers the seats of old fabrics, manufactures cushion covers with fabric scraps, repainted ...

Housed in a former industrial building, she managed with her husband to mutate the site decommissioned in a place that perfectly reflects his spirit "Bohemian-vintage".

Their secret was to intervene as little as possible. No partition was mounted to give an impression of space, so that the place only "100 m 2" The walls have just been repainted white and the concrete floor kept unchanged. All piping and columns were kept exposed.
