The Wishbone Chair is a classic of modern Danish design, and is often used as a dining chair or occasional chair. Hans Wegner was always inspired by objects from certain time periods - the Wishbone Chair is no exception, with design cues taken from 18th-century portraits of Danish traders and merchants sitting on Chinese Ming chairs. With its curved, solid beech wood form and wishbone ‘Y’ shape in the center-back, the Wishbone Chair is a style icon that looks great in any dining room.
